The Cathedral was undergoing extensive building modifications when we were approached by the architect to provide a range of Audio Visual systems in the newly modernised Lecture rooms and library.
The lecture rooms required large projector screens and a quality sound reproduction system but the remit was that the cathedral wanted complete flexibility in the input and output locations. Utilizing the extensive Cat6 cabling system for all inputs to the sound system and outputs from various devices ie Laptops DVD players to the projectors or LCD screens we managed to achieve the flexibility required.
We also supplied a JTS UHF Dual Diversity UHF wireless microphone system which enabled full mobility for the speakers .
Chorley United Reformed Church, Chorley:
The Church wanted to enhance services by installing a projector to the front of the church. A range of options had been discussed but the Ampec solution was to install two Hitachi Ultra Short throw projectors on to the side walls at the front of the church. And for the members of the choir in the choir stalls we fitted a 60” Plasma TV monitor at the rear of the church. All connectivity was achieved using CAT5e cable for VGA Composite video and HDMI.
To improve the sound system we supplied a JTS UHF Dual diversity system with six head microphones. These have been very successful particularly when the young children participate in the service.
